Scorpion Prevention · Arcadia · Phoenix AZ

Your block wall isn’t just a fence.
It’s where scorpions live.

The hollow cores and gaps in a standard block wall are ideal scorpion habitat. They shelter there, breed there, and move into your yard — and your home — from there. Sealing the wall is one of the most effective steps you can take.

Scorpions don’t just pass through your wall. They move in.

Arizona bark scorpions are uniquely adapted to exploit block walls. The voids, cracks, and seams provide everything they need — shelter from heat, protection from predators, and stable conditions for raising young. A single wall can harbor dozens.

Once established, they move freely between the wall, your yard, and eventually your home. Sealing the wall doesn’t just reduce scorpion activity — it eliminates the source.

Under UV light, scorpions fluoresce bright white. The before image shows live scorpions harboring inside a block wall gap. The after shows the same gap — treated and permanently sealed.

Two steps. One less way in.

1

Dust Treatment

Before sealing, we treat the wall with a professional-grade insecticidal dust. This reaches into the voids and crevices where scorpions harbor — places the caulk alone can’t reach. Any scorpions present are eliminated before we close the wall.

2

Concrete Caulk Seal

We seal the gaps, cracks, and openings along the wall with a concrete-compatible caulk. The result is a semi-permanent barrier that eliminates the habitat scorpions have been using. This is not a surface spray — it physically removes their home.

Note: We offer block wall sealing as a standalone add-on service. We do not offer full scorpion seal packages (sealing every structural gap in the home). Pricing is custom quoted based on wall length, height, and condition. Text us your address for a quote.

Seal the wall. Then seal the house.

Block wall sealing stops scorpions from establishing in your yard. But even with a sealed wall, scorpions can still enter your home through gaps at doors, vents, and other openings. Home exclusion closes those gaps.

This service is quoted and scheduled separately from block wall sealing — it can be done as a standalone or in combination.

Door Sweeps

Gaps under exterior doors are one of the most common scorpion entry points. We install tight-fitting door sweeps that eliminate the gap without affecting door function.

Weather Stripping

Worn or missing weather stripping around door frames leaves gaps that scorpions can squeeze through. We replace or install weatherstripping to create a proper seal.

Vent Screening

Interior vents are a common scorpion entry point. We screen these openings to block access while maintaining necessary airflow.

Both services are custom quoted. Text us your address and we’ll get back to you fast — usually within minutes during business hours.
